How do I get started with ELSOAR?

Simply visit our Sign Up page to create an account. You’ll complete a brief questionnaire to help us match you with a licensed therapist in your community. Once matched, you can schedule your first session and begin your therapy journey.

What types of therapy are offered?

We provide individual therapy for adults, couples, and teens. Our therapists specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. You can view therapist profiles to find the right fit for your needs.

How do I communicate with my therapist?

You can message your therapist anytime through your secure ELSOAR portal. Live sessions are conducted via video, phone, or chat, depending on your preference and your therapist’s availability.

How much does therapy cost?

ELSOAR offers competitive rates, with therapists earning $100 per 45-minute session. Pricing for clients varies based on location and therapist availability. We strive to keep therapy affordable and accessible.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, ELSOAR does not accept insurance. However, we offer financial assistance options for eligible clients. Please contact our support team to learn more.

Can I switch therapists if needed?

Absolutely. If you feel your therapist isn’t the right fit, you can request a change at any time. We’re committed to helping you find the best match for your therapeutic needs.

Is my information secure?

Yes. ELSOAR uses industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal and health information. Your privacy and confidentiality are our top priorities.

Who can apply to become a therapist with ELSOAR?

We welcome licensed mental health professionals from Canada and the United States, including:

  • Psychologists (PhD, PsyD)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW, RSW)

  • Licensed Professional Counselors / Therapists (LPC, LPCC, LCPC)

  • Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT)

  • Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC)

  • Other licensed mental health professionals with active, in-good-standing licenses in their respective province, state, or territory

What are the requirements to join ELSOAR?
  • Valid license to provide clinical therapy issued by a state or provincial board (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, RCC, CRPO, or similar credentials)

  • Professional identifier:

    • U.S. providers: Individual NPI number

    • Canadian providers: Provincial license number (e.g., CRPO number for Ontario, CAP for Alberta, OPQ for Quebec, or equivalent provincial registration number)

  • 3+ years of experience in therapy for adults, couples, and/or teens

  • Desktop or laptop computer with a reliable internet connection and a webcam

  • Currently residing in Canada or the USA

Note: If you are an intern or require supervision to provide therapy services, you cannot be a provider at ELSOAR at this time. Therapists are independent providers and not ELSOAR employees.
